Despite all the crazy weather we’ve been having across the country, spring had arrived! Mother’s Day is May 12th and it’s time for mothers everywhere to get showered with affection. We may not give our mothers picture frames made out of macaroni anymore, but don’t forget your mom this mother’s day! I know everyone’s almost to the end of the school year and a lot of projects and exams are coming up, but you don’t have to be like Beyoncé and buy your mom a 5.9 million dollar mansion (thank goodness) to let your mother know she’s loved. Although I live in Hawaii and my mom lives in Maryland I still want to find a way to make her mother’s day special. What do you all have planned?
Handmade gifts are always appreciated, so why not take a couple of pointers from the Queen of Crafts, Martha Stewart? //www.marthastewart.com/275133/handmade-gifts-for-mothers-day/@center/307033/spring-holidays Martha’s Mother’s Day Crafts
Are crafts and Martha not really your style? You make coupons good for babysitting younger siblings, extra chores, cooking, or anything that will help out around the house. You can even print out pre-made coupons here: Mother’s Day Coupons.
Even if your mother didn’t raise you or you two aren’t very close, odds are, that there is a woman in your life that has both supported and loved you so don’t forget to let them know how much you appreciate them.
Good luck with finals, Prom, graduation, and the end of the school year. Summer will be here before you know it!
